For the past five years, I’ve been quietly building Nuthatch Grey — a creative brand rooted in hand-drawn design, storytelling, and a deep love of the natural world.

Up until now, I’ve let the work speak for itself. I’ve kept my own name in the background so the brand could grow in its own way. But today feels like the right moment to gently lift the curtain.

I’m Emma Bossons FRSA — designer, maker, and the person behind Nuthatch Grey.

With a background in ceramics and a long-standing love of surface pattern design, this small business has become a space where I can create freely and share pieces that mean something. It’s been a quiet but fulfilling journey so far, and I’m excited to finally share a bit more of the story.
